The missions and evangelism school, “Two Cities,” focuses on “Kansas City + One overseas mission city”. Over the course of 8 weeks, participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors about missions and evangelism. After completing the training, participants can put what they’ve learned into practice by joining either an overseas short-term mission team or a Kansas City evangelism team
Schedule: March 22 – May 10 (Every Saturday, starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 12:30 PM)
Location: WAVE Church (10603 Lee Blvd Leawood KS 66209)
Eligibility: Anyone aged 18 and older who understands the need for missions and evangelism
Language: Korean/English (Simultaneous interpretation and subtitles provided depending on the lecture)
Instructors: Mark Anderson (Call2All president), Dr. Joshua (President of an international Islamic evangelism mission organization), Joel Sung (WAVE Church), Missionary MJ (International Mission Mobilization), and local Korean missionaries. (*Instructor lineup is subject to change.)
Training Topics: Global Mission Trends / The Great Commission / What is Missions? / Missions and Prayer / World Religions / Urban Mission Strategies / Evangelism and Mission Practicum, etc.
Student Assignments During the Training Period:
- Class Attendance (Mandatory every week)
- Book Reflection Paper (2-3 pages, due by Week 7)
- Evangelism (at least 1 time before the end of training)
After Training: Join an international short-term mission team or the KC evangelism team
